Day 16:
Fasted all day to try and kick this cold. For dinner at 7pm I made a Hawaiian pork burger (without the bun), unfortunately I couldn't really taste it all that well because of my blocked sinuses but from from I did taste it was damn good.
Pork Patties:
500gms Pork Mince
1 Pureed peeled apple
1.5 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
1 tsp honey
Mexican spice
oregano
s&p
(the apple makes the burgers really moist)
In the photo is, 1 pork Burger patty topped with smoked cheese, fried unsweetened pineapple slice, butter fried button mushrooms and 3 strips of bacon, on the side is mesclun salad with Japanese mayonnaise!
Hope you are feeling better! That burger looks marvelous. I'll definitely have to try it.
ReplyDeleteGood idea about the pureed apple, I am going to try that. Mmmm. And bummer about the cold, bad luck when you've only just got over the last one. But you're doing the right thing in continuing to eat healthily while you're sick.
